Coyle retains Holden

Bolton Wanderers Manager Owen Coyle is willing to be patient, in order to to Stuart Holden in top condition to get back.

The Bolton midfielder recovering from a serious knee injury inflicted by Manchester United Jonny Evans in March and hopes in September back.

Evans was sent to leave the Holden with badly gashed knee and cruciate ligament damage for the challenge.

And trotters boss Coyle has previously warned, listen to Holden, Medical Council, rather than rush his comeback.

He said: "Stuart as a soul mate, so positive in his Outlook, and in everything he does." I love, that about him.

"He is optimistic and he improved no doubt, but we have to ensure that we choose the right time to bring him back, and press him not at all."

"Stu has targeted mid-September." My medical guys are a little bit more careful. If we again at this point it would I be thrilled, but we need may be only a little patience.

"Let us not away from it, we have not seen all the effect of him in the team had on us last season."

Although born in Aberdeen, Holden grew up in Texas and has been with 17 full caps for the United States of America.

He had a short spell in Sunderland in 2005 but suffered injury problems and was released after six months, for the first team plays without.

He later returned to the States for Houston to play Dynamo in MLS, before he in the Reebok in January 2010.

He was a great influence for the trotters, where 26 times in the Barclays 2010/11 before the suffering of the anterior cruciate ligament injury, which abruptly ended his season forcing him Premier League to miss the FA Cup semi-final against Stoke City.
